West Bengal Primary TET Notification 2023
WB Primary TET Exam:- The West Bengal Board of Primary Education will conduct the Primary Teacher Eligibility Test TET-2023 on 10/12/2023 (Sunday) across West Bengal. The online WB Primary TET Application process shall start from 14/09/2023 onwards and shall close on 04/10/2023.
Candidates can apply only online on the WBBPE official website www.wbbprimaryeducation.org Interested candidates can check their eligibility here and Apply online.
A candidate who will score at least 60% of total marks (150) in TET will be considered as a TET-2023 qualified candidate. A relaxation of 5% (id est 55%) will be the qualifying mark for SC, ST, OBC-A, and OBC-B.

WB TET 2023 Exam Eligibility
Must be a citizen of India for the West Bengal Primary Teacher TET-2023 Exam.
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
or
Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
or
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and having a Diploma in Education (Special Education), a course recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (R.C.I.)
or
Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
Options for First Language: Intending applicants will have to choose any one of the following languages as their first language: Bengali, Hindi, Urdu, Nepali, Santhali, Oriya, and Telugu. The choice will be on the basis of the medium of instruction in the school.
Second Language: English (for all).
WB Primary TET Syllabus 2023 (প্রাথমিক টেট সিলেবাস)
As per WB Primary TET Syllabus and Exam Pattern, there will be 2 papers. Paper I for Class 1 to 5 and Paper II for Class 6 to 8.
Paper I has five subjects i.e. Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I: English, Language-II: Bengali, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies. For Paper II, candidates must compulsorily prepare for major subjects including Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I English, Language-II Bengali, Mathematics, and Science or Social Studies. For Paper II, there will be a choice between Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
