Educational Qualification
For detailed information about qualifications, the candidates must read the official notification before applying
- Master‟s degree from a recognized University in Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level
or - Master‟s degree from a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level
or - Master‟s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of an examination at the degree level
or - Master‟s degree from a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level
or - Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa or two years‟ experience of in translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central or State Government Office, including the Government of India undertaking
Age Limit (as on 01.08.2023) & Age relaxation
The candidate’s age limit is 18 to 30 years as on 01.08.2023, i.e., candidates born not before 02.08.1993 and not later than 01.08.2005 are eligible to apply. The age relaxation as per category is mentioned below.

Selection Process For SSC Recruitment 2023 (JTO, JHT, JT, SHT, ST)
- Minimum qualifying marks in Computer Based Examination are as follows:
1. UR: 30%
2. OBC/EWS: 25%
3. All Other Categories: 20% - Based on the marks scored in Paper-I; i.e., Computer Based Examination, candidates will be shortlisted, category-wise, to appear in Paper-II. If the Computer Based Examination is conducted in multiple shifts, normalized marks will be used to determine merit and for final selection.
- Based on the performance in Paper-I & Paper-II, candidates will be considered for final selection. There may be separate category wise cut offs in Paper-I & Paper-II.
- Final selection and allocation of Ministry/ Department/Organization will be made on the basis of the performance of candidates in Paper-I & Paper-II and the preference of Post(s)/Department(s) exercised by them
