Librarian
- A Master’s Degree in Library Science, Information Science, or Documentation Science or an equivalent professional degree, with at least 55% marks.
- A consistently good academic record, with knowledge of the computerization of a library.
- Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagari Scripts, and knowledge of Rajasthani Culture.
Physical Training Instructor PTI
- A Master’s Degree in Physical Education and Sports or Physical Education or Sports Science with 55% marks.
- Record of having represented the university/college at the inter-university competitions or the State and/or national championships.
- An Asian game or Commonwealth Games medal winner who has a degree at least at post-graduation level.
- Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagari Scripts, and knowledge of Rajasthani Culture.
Assistant Professor Home Science
- A Master’s degree with 55% marks.
- Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET).
- Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagari Scripts, and knowledge of Rajasthani Culture.
Age Limit For RPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2023
Age limit for Librarian and Physical Training Instructor PTI as on 01/01/2024 Minimum 21 years and a maximum 40 years for this job.
Age limit for Assistant Professor Home Science as on 01/07/2023 Minimum 21 years and a maximum 40 years for this job.
Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per Government of India guidelines for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates (SC/ST-5 Years, OBC-3 Years).
Selection Process
Candidates for RPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2023 will be selected through competitive examination and interview. If necessary, scaling/ moderation/ normalization method can be adopted by the Commission in the evaluation of the answer sheet/answer book.

2. Interview
- The interview shall carry 20 marks
- To the extent of three times of total number of vacancies (category-wise), the candidates who obtain such minimum qualifying marks in written examination as may be fixed by the Commission shall be summoned for interview.
3. Syllabus: The syllabus shall be such as specified by the Commission, from time to time, and will be intimated to the candidates within the stipulated time in the manner as the Commission deems fit.
4. Physical Fitness Test (only for PTI): The candidates who qualify in the written test shall be required to appear for the physical efficiency test/physical fitness test.
