Northern Coalfields Limited under the Ministry of Coal has officially announced the recruitment of 338 posts for HEMM (Heavy Earth Moving Machine) Operator Trainee in different categories (Shovel Operator, Dumper Operator, Surface Miner Operator, Dozer Operator, Grader Operator, Pay loader Operator, Crane Operator) and for its well equipped 10 highly mechanized open cast mines situated in  Singrauli District of Madhya Pradesh and Sonbhadra District of Uttar Pradesh. Pay Scale

At the period of training (as a trainee) the scale of pay for different positions (Shovel Operator, Dumper Operator, Surface Miner Operator, Dozer Operator, Grader Operator, Pay loader Operator, Crane Operator) is Rs. 1502.66/- per day.

The Grade of candidates After successful completion of 3 years training and being found suitable, they will be placed in the respective scale/ designation of HEMM Operator (Trainee) Excavation Category D.

Eligibility For NCL Hemm Recruitment

• The minimum qualification is a 10th pass and Candidates shall have secured a minimum of ( GEN/UR/EWS ) 55%,(OBC/NCL) 50%, and (SC/ST) 45% marks in metric to become eligible for applying for the above posts.
• A Valid HMV/Transport License issued from any RTO/RTA of India.
• The candidate’s age is under 18-30 years.

Selection Process

• Computer-based tests will be conducted for the selection of Candidates for the post of HEMM Operator  (Trainee). The computer-based Test will be of 100 Marks for a 90-minute duration common for all positions of HEMM Operator (Trainee). The Merit for filling the posts will be prepared on the scores of candidates in the Computer Based Test of 100 marks.
• Common CBT (Computer Based Test) – For all posts (100 MCQ of one mark each and There will be no negative marking for marking incorrect answers.)
• Computer-Based Test Syllabus
• Elementary Knowledge of Diesel engines, Petrol engine
• General Awareness/ Knowledge
• Basic Mathematical Aptitude

• Candidates are advised to login into the official website of NCL by using the URL www.nclcil.in.>  Career> Recruitment> Employment Notification for Direct Recruitment of various posts of HEMM  Operator (Trainee) >Apply online.
• Employment Notification is available in both English and Hindi. Candidates may select either of them at their convenience.
• Candidates belonging to categories other than SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Departmental Candidate are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 1000.00/- plus applicable GST Rs. 180/-  totaling Rs. 1180/-
• While applying online, the candidate needs to upload the following documents
• Scanned copy of the recent passport-size color photograph (not older than 3 weeks in jpg/jpeg  format)
• Scanned copy of signature with Black ink pen (in jpg/jpeg format)
• Scanned copies of the documents (in pdf format), as follows:
  Matriculation / Secondary Board level certificate.
  Valid HMV/ Transport License issued from any RTA/ RTO of Indian State(s)
  Candidates belonging to OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) / SC / ST will have to upload a self-attested copy of a valid certificate in the prescribed format.
