CET Haryana Exam Date Of Group D 2023
HSSC CET Group D Exam: The Haryana Staff Selection Commission will conduct the Common Eligibility Test (CET) for Group D against the Advt. No. 01/2023 on 21.10.2023 (Saturday) and 22.10.2023 (Sunday) in Morning and evening Sessions across Haryana for 13536 posts of Group D in various Departments, and Authorities of Govt. of Haryana.
The is exam to be held in two sessions candidates will get 1 hour and 45 minutes (105 minutes). In the first session, the exam will start at 10 am and end at 11.45 am. After this, the exam will start at 3 pm and end at 4.45 pm.
The Haryana Staff Selection Commission is conducting an exam for Group D in various Departments and Authorities of the Govt. of Haryana. The pay scale of selected candidates for HSSC CET Group D is Rs 16900-53500.
Criteria of Selection and Examination For HSSC CET 2023
The selection of the candidates belonging to Group D posts where the minimum educational qualification is Matriculation (10th pass) in all departments shall be made on the basis of the Common Eligibility Test CET and Socio-economic criteria.
The Common Eligibility Test score shall include CET marks and Socioeconomic criteria as follows;

The question paper shall be of the level of secondary education (Matriculation level) for Group D posts.
The common Eligibility Test marks shall be divided into two parts comprising:
- 75% marks for General Awareness, Reasoning, quantitative ability, English, Hindi and relevant or concerned subject(s), as applicable.
- 25% marks for History, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Environment, Culture etc. of Haryana.
HSSC Haryana CET Group D Syllabus 2023
The syllabus for the HSSC CET Group D Exam Includes The Following:
- General Awareness (30% Weightage)
- Reasoning (10% Weightage)
- Quantitative Ability (15% Weightage)
- English Language (10% Weightage)
- Hindi Language (10% Weightage)
- General Knowledge of Haryana (25% weightage)
General Awareness
- The test will include questions relating to India and neighboring countries, especially pertaining to History, Indian Polity and constitution, Art and culture, and Geography.
- General Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology).
Reasoning
Alphabetical order, series, Coding-decoding, direction and distance, order and ranking, blood relation, analogy, classification, clock, calendar, mirror image, water image, syllogism, sitting arrangement, inserting the missing characters, statement and assumption, statement and conclusion, counting figures, Non-verbal series, analogy, and classification.
Quantitative Ability
The test will cover Number System including questions on Simplification, Decimals, Fractions, Relationship between numbers. L.C.M., H.C.F., Ratio and proportion, Percentage, roots, Average, Profit and loss, Discount, Simple and Compound Interest, Mensuration, Partnership Business, Mixture and Allegation, Time and work, Time and distance, Trigonometry, basic Algebra, Geometry.
English Language
English Grammar, Spot the Error, Fill in the Blanks, Synonyms, Antonyms, Spellings/ Detecting mis-spelt words, Idioms and phrases, Improvement of Sentences, Active/ Passive Voice of Verbs, Conversion into Direct/ Indirect narration, Shuffling of Sentence parts, tenses.
