Bihar SSC Inter Level Recruitment 2023: The Bihar Staff Selection Commission BSSC will conduct the Second Inter Level Combined Competitive Examination for 11098 posts in various Departments, and Authorities in Bihar. Online applications are invited from eligible Indian citizens for the post of Lower division clerk (LDC), Assistant Instructor, Revenue Employee, Panchayat Secretary, and Typist cum Clerk.

The pay scale of selected candidates for Bihar SSC Inter Level Recruitment 2023 is Rs 19900-81100 as per BSSC Notification.

Eligibility Bihar SSC Inter Level Recruitment 2023

BSSC Inter Level Qualification

Must have passed the Intermediate examination (12th) of the Board of Secondary Education, or any examination recognized equivalent to it by the Government. Computer operation and computer typing knowledge (stenographer) and for Filariasis Inspector 12th with science.

BSSC Inter Level Age Limit

Minimum 18 years and Maximum 37 years (For Female candidates maximum 40) for this job as on 01/08/2023. Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per Government of India guidelines for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates (SC/ST-5 Years, OBC-3 Years).

Selection Process Bihar SSC Inter Level Recruitment 2023

The selection of the candidates where the minimum educational qualification is Intermediate (12th pass) in all departments shall be made on the basis of the Prelims Exam, Main Exam, and Document verification.

The preliminary examination will be of an objective nature. Candidates equal to 05 (five) times the number of category-wise vacancies available through the preliminary examination will be selected for the main examination. A separate advertisement will be published for the main examination.

Nature of BSSC examination:- Objective Type

Preliminary Examination: In the preliminary examination, there will be one paper on General Knowledge, which will have the following topics:-

• General Studies सामान्य अध्ययन
• General Science and Mathematics सामान्य विज्ञान एवं गणित
• Mental Ability Test मानसिक क्षमता जाँच (Comprehension/Logic/Reasoning/Mental Ability)

BSSC Inter Level Exam Pattern 2023 has Questions that will be objective and multiple choice. The total number of questions will be 150. 4 marks will be given for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours 15 minutes. The medium of language in the preliminary examination will be Hindi/English. If there is any difference between Hindi and English question papers, only English questions will be valid.

BSSC Inter Level syllabus Includes the following:

General Studies

The purpose of the questions will be to test the candidate’s general knowledge of the surrounding environment and his/her ability to apply it in society. Questions related to knowledge of matters like current events and day-to-day events, subtle observation, and scientific approach towards them, about which any educated person is expected to have knowledge, will also be included. In this, questions can be asked specifically regarding Bihar, India, and its neighboring countries.

1. Current Affairs: Scientific Progress, National/International Awards, Indian Languages, Book, Script, Capital, Sports-Players, Important Events.

2. India and its neighboring countries:- History of neighboring countries, History of India, culture, geography, economic scenario, freedom movement, main features of Indian agriculture and natural resources, Constitution and polity of India, the political system of the country, Panchayati Raj, Contribution of Bihar in community development, five-year plan and national movement.

General Science and Mathematics

In this, generally, questions can be asked from the following subjects of matriculation level

1. General Science: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Geography.

2. Mathematics:- Questions related to number system, computation of whole numbers, decimals and fractions, interrelationships between numbers, basic numerical mathematical operations, percentage, ratio and proportion, average, interest, and profit and loss.

Mental Ability Test is also a part of the Bihar SSC syllabus

In this, both verbal and non-verbal questions can be asked. In this component, as many questions as possible related to the following can be asked:- Analogy, Similarity and Difference, Space Visualization, Problem-Solving, Analysis, Visual Memory, Differentiation, Observation, Relationship Concept, Numerical Reasoning, Numerical Number Series, Code Writing and Code interpretation.
